Try These Stop Snoring Exercises

If a habitually loud snoring condition has always been part of your life (not to mention the irritation you’re partner has probably had to endure at times), and are finally ready to put and end to the noisy nonsense and learn how to stop snoring forever, it should come as a relief to know that I might have just the ticket to put you on the path to a quiet nights sleep. By simply designating a small amount of time on a daily basis to perform some easy throat strengthing, stop snoring exercise drills, you can get rid of, or at the least greatly reduce, your loud snoring.

The reason these exercises operate so well is because they hone in on the root cause of snoring for many people. When you sleep, your body becomes very relaxed, which in turn causes the tissues associated with the throat, tongue and jaw to become flaccid. This leads to a partial obstruction and thus loud vibrations to occur in the airway tracts.By simply doing a few easy exercises designed specifically to tone and tighten these areas you will go a long way towards preventing these obstructions while you sleep.
  Stop Snoring Exercises to Try:

Exercise 1:

Begin by singing the sound la la la over and over for 10 seconds at a time. You should do this drill at a nice steady pace making certain to raise the volume a bit too  You need to do this drill 4-6 times each day for 3-5 minutes each time.

After a little while you will start to feel the muscles in your throat and jaw getting firmer, which will lead to a measurable drop-off in the amount of vibration that occurs in your airway tract while you sleep.

Exercise 2:

Another drill that you can practice on a daily basis is the tongue extender exercise, at least that’s what I call it. You may feel a bit silly while doing it, but don’t let that deter you! Just stick your tongue out as far as possible and keep it there for 5 seconds, then rest for few moments and repeat the motion 5-7 times per session. After doing this exercise for a couple of weeks, there’s a good chance you’ll really start to notice a reduction in your snoring. I know I did.

While we’re talking about these various snoring exercises for the throat and jaw, I should also mention the importance of exercise for your body in general. It’s a fact that one of the leading causes of habitual snoring is being over weight. The reason is fairly obvious – the more fatty tissue that builds up around the muscles in our body and in in our breathing tract specifically, the narrower your breathing tract becomes, leading to obnoxious snoring sounds.
