my daughter had adenoid surgery BUT?

her symptoms have worsened, althougth its been a year since she had the adnoids removed.
she is snoring so laudly , has developed sleep apnea and she is only 3 yrs old:(

the ent wants to do another surgery but she had a bad reaction, she was sick and fuzzy for a wk when she had her surgery.
I dont know what to do…….
any experiences? advice?
huey, she is on flonase, but her being 3 yrs old its a fight for me to spray that on her nose, I usually do it when she falls asleep.

KYLE D: I put my faith first in Gods hands, and I do trust the doctor, but who says she will be fine after another surgery? and for me to put her through all she went through last time.

Forget the CPAP. If you can’t get her to accept the Flonase, a CPAP mask would be impossible!
I expect the benefits of another operation outweigh the risks. Sleep apnea can have very serious consequences if left untreated:
1 Cardiac complications – heart attack (even in kids)
2 Stroke – (even in kids)
3 Learning difficulties from chronically poor and interrupted sleep.
I agree with the ENT. Adenoids can grow back.
Schedule the surgery, and have a talk with the anesthesiologist about her prior reaction; there may be alternative general anesthesia drugs he/she can use.
