My daughter has white patches on tonsils and are getting more swollen…….?
Her tonsils are getting more and more swollen even though she is on a antibotic. The doctor didn’t do a streph test because she is deathly afraid of them but; are treating it with antibotic. (which I thought was stupid). She said that when she swallows it feels like there is a lump in her throat ( I asked her if it is hard for her to swallow and she said a little bit, and the white spots are still there and her tonsils look like there closeing up her throat some. She has been on the antibotic for more than 2 days now. But like I said her tonsils are getting more swollen. She just had streph throat last month. But her tonsils didn’t get this big. What could this be? Could it be something else other than streph? She has no fever but her throat still is sore. And her she is snoring really loud at night because she is haveing difficultly breathing thru her nose (congensted) and thru her mouth. Help please!
she may need another antibiotic,especially since she had strep last month.Sometimes the germ is resistant to certain antibiotics.Just call the doctor and inform him/her,hope all works out.
