What’s your opinion on the “Snore-Op”?

My doctor has recommended me to undergo anti-snoring surgery with radio waves.
Has anyone had this done, or know someone who has?
Did it work?
I just want to stop snoring, it’s scaring the bats away.

In 2003 I had surgery on my turbinates with some kind of heat pen, then had my soft palate cut down and my uvula removed with a similar device. It stopped my snoring and sleep apnea for a few months, but even after losing 20lbs, the snoring and apnea came back. I’ve used a C-PAP machine now just over a year. I don’t snore, my apnea is gone, my wife sleeps through the night, and I don’t pass out dead tired by 4pm.

Have you had a sleep study? Make sure it’s not apnea.
