do you suffer from severe insomnia?,pls help?
I take 4 kinds of med.’s to help calm me down and a sleep aid to help me sleep.i have moved myself away from my snoring husband,i have darkened my room(where I sleep now) and i do not lay down if i am not tired.i listen to a waterfall w/ soft music and i still can’t find a remedy.My sleep disorder dr. says he doesn’t know what else to try.
I also don’t drink coffee after 3p.m. or i don’t eat sugary items.
WHAT CAN I DO?
I have taken many of the different sleeping meds and none seem to have an effect on me (Lunesta, Restoral, Ambien, are just a few). I have found that taking klonopin about three hours before bedtime really helps relax me enough to sleep but the drug that has really helped me as of late is Stratterra. It is an ADD med and I take it at night instead of the morning so that I can “concentrate” on getting to sleep at night.
