My wife snores and my marriage is in jeopardy?
My wife snores uncontrollably see has a deviated septum and a over bite. We tried many device’s including no snore pill’s and mouth devices. The ENT Doctors and the surgeons cant operate on it because she will loose her voice we even got a second opinion. They suggested that I get counseling and sleep in another room. I would like to keep sleeping with my wife the snoring in like a freight train on gravel. I dont want to brake up my marriage over it. We have been married for over 10 years and my wife snoring started two years ago and drives me crazy. I would like to take sleeping pill but it will make me to sleepy in the morning to drive to work.
Ear plugs? Seriously.
Has there been a change in her weight, that the snoring should only have started just 2 years ago? Because her deviated septum and over bite would have been there longer (unless she had her nose broken since?).
Her weight is something that can be controlled and certainly could be a contributing factor. Heavy people tend to snore more. Perhaps its worth while discussing that with her doctor.
By the way, good on you for not letting this break you two up.
