smoking causes snoring
Am I a candidate for an overnight sleep study?

I am an 19 year old male, don’t drink, smoke or do drugs. Suffering from high indirect bilirubin for which I have undergone extensive testing however a cause has not yet been determined as all my liver tests have been normal
. Since then severe unrelentless daytime sleepiness has set in which is almost debilitating and seriously affecting my life as a young adult. I get 8 hours of sleep at night, drink lots of water, eat healthily and I’m in above average shape. I don’t believe I snore, and can’t recall any events where I have awoken from sleep. I wake unrefreshed and sometimes out of breath with a headache.

I think you are a candidate. There is a disorder called central sleep apnea, where the individuals do not snore. The other possibilities are night terrors or sleep walking or possibly others.
