Sassy nature is not good on an offensive Charizard – With yours I’d suggest Timid or Modest. Giga Impact and any move that has the same regeneration-waste-move kind of negativity is always a no-no in the D/P/Pt metagame, in my opinion at least, even STAB Giga Impact on Slaking and STAB Adaptability 405 Max SpAtk on PorygonZ.
Better would be
Charizard @ Wide Lens / Wise Glasses / Life Orb / Choice Specs
Timid / Modest: 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
- Fire Blast/ Heat Wave / Flamethrower
- Air Slash
- Focus Blast
- Dragon Pulse / Hidden Power Grass
You could also put on a Choice Scarf and opt for a Modest Nature with Fire Blast, while I’d advise Specs with Flamethrower for the better accuracy (since you are already boosted damage with Specs). Life Orb gives more choice in moves, but Wise Glasses doesn’t decrease your HP and has a smaller decrease in damage dealt. Air Slash and Fire Blast are good STAB moves on Charizard, while Focus Blast has amazing base 120 SpAtk power to work off with against Rock types that are resistant to the Fire-Flying combo (and hit 4x effective against Charizard). Dragon Pulse is good for a filler, but you could use Focus Punch if you’re afraid of Special walls like Snorlax and Blissey (and maybe Regice, but you’d probably be better off using Fire Blast). But Dragon Pulse is useful against Salamence and Kingdra anyway, if you have nothing else to use and you want to finish them off. Hidden Power Grass is the better option, but is very difficult to obtain since it depends on your IVs.
Empoleon has a neutral nature – No one uses a neutral nature unless they have no idea what the natures are. With your offensive set, I’d also give it a Modest Nature, but not Timid because Empoleon’s Speed is rather low and the speed boost won’t make much of a benefit compared to Charizard. Overall, however, Empoleon serves best as a Special wall, since he has a pretty good typing and walls the Water-Normal Combo well, as well as Dragon + Water (Kingdra). But if you want SpAtk offensive, you can use a combination of Hydro Pump, Grass Knot, Ice Beam, and a filler move. Hydro Pump serves as a good STAB move, Grass Knot for coverage over Water types that resist Hydro Pump, and Ice Beam for Grass Types that resist both. If you want a Physical set, you could stick on with Return, Waterfall, Earthquake, and Swords Dance / Avalanche. Conspicuously, Empoleon’s Special Attack is higher than its Attack, so I’d suggest using the Special Attacking set.
Lucario has a good Nature for a Special Attacker, and probably the best set there is for him, in that case, is Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave, and Hidden Power Ice. Gliscor gets owned by HP Ice, Aura Sphere 2HKOs Blissey because of STAB and Choice Specs (if you opt to use Specs) and Dark Pulse helps against Cresselia, Gengar, and Dusknoir — Those Ghost types and Dark types that are immune / resist Fighting attacks. Hidden Power ice doesn’t only serve primarily for taking down Gliscor, but other Flyers that are neutral to Dark Pulse and resist STAB Aura Sphere. If you want to make Lucario Physical, you could use a CB Set with Stone Edge, Crunch, Close Combat, and ExtremeSpeed / Bullet Punch. If you have Platinum, you could use Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Close Combat, and Crunch. The best set, however, is probably the Swords Dance, Close Combat, Crunch, ExtremeSpeed combo with Life Orb. After a Swords Dance, Lucario breaks walls with Close Combat and Crunch (which is for those Pokémon that resist / are immune to Fighting attacks) while ExtremeSpeed is for those Sweepers that are faster than Lucario (its a first Priority). Aerodactyl and Gengar are the only Pokémon that are faster, can OHKO with Earthquake and Focus Blast, and are resistant to / immune to ExtremeSpeed, all respectively. Bullet Punch can be used instead of Extremespeed if you want, but I would definitely advise ExtremeSpeed =D
Snorlax should be noted most for its Special Defense, and because you don’t have a Restalker on your team, I’d probably give it Rest, Sleep Talk, Body Slam / Return, Crunch / Whirlwind /Earthquake. Body Slam I usually prefer over Return because even though it deals less damage, it has a 30% chance of paralysis that debilitates the opposing team. On the last slot I used Whrilwind for Phazing, but Earthquake helps against Steels / Rocks while Crunch against Ghost / Psychics. Don’t use Solar Beam / Thunder / Hyper Beam — By the time you get your Solarbeam ready, you’lll die, and Thunder is very inaccurate. Additionally, Snorlax has a better Attack in comparison to his Special attack.
Garchomp is Uber in some places, but if you want to use him, I’d really suggest a more offensive set. However, putting down a stealth Rock is very important, and the only thing I would change on your set is the Draco Meteor (even though it isn’t too bad). But changing the Nature would be better… you don’t want a decrease in speed.
