Do dentists prescribe an appliance for snoring?
My friend told me her husband got an appliance from his dentist so that he wont snore. I am interested in this. Does anyone know more? Cost, type, success?
I had a sleep study done. I do not have sleep apnea. I slept with the CPAP – it’s AWFUL. I absolutley don’t want it. I’m also a little leary of having the surgery on my uvula becasue I’m a singer and don’t want to do anything to upset those delicate throat tissues. I don’t drink alcohol.
My mom got a device from her dentist. I’m not sure about cost, but it was partly covered by her insurance. And she found it to be quite helpful.
