My baby hums when she exhales in her sleep. Is this okay?
When she sleeps she lets out a little hum every time she exhales.
Is this normal? Or is this snoring or sleep apnea?
Mine did this all the time when she was first born. Now that she is older and sleeps on her belly she doesn’t do it at all. I found that she only does it when she is sleeping flat on her back. She did it in the hospital and the pediatrician didn’t seem concerned so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. If you are worried then give her pediatrician a call and talk to one of the nurses there, they should be able to tell you if it’s normal or not.
