Why does my dog lose her breath and fall over when I come home?

Took her to vet last week. 1 yr. old pom.He said she may have anemia. red blood count down. Gave her temaril-p and cephalexin also some liquid to build iron. Everyday when I come home from work she gets real excited then loses her breath and falls down .She’s not running around, just standing there wagging her tail ,then starts a choking sound ,and falls I have to grab her up rub her under her throat to get her back breathing . She seems to be gasping ,she always wets on herself when this happens, I know that is because she can’t get air. She has been on this med for four days now and she is still the same .
How long before she gets better ? Vet said call him on Monday with an update. And will check blood count again in 2 weeks. Does this sound right ? I can not even sleep at night because I am afraid she may die . I have to have someone watch here all day while I work. I am so worried. She also snores real loud. Is this o.k. Does anyone know about this?

Pomeranians are prone to collapsing trachea. She’s getting overly excited to see you when you come home, then starts breathing really fast, but since her airways is too narrow, she can’t get enough oxygen to her system, which makes her faint.

Weird breath sound (or snoring?? lol)
