Snoring Breathing Technique

Quitting Smoking?

I have been smoking for 3 years and have tried to quit 30 times now and the furthest I’ve ever lasted without smoking is 5 days…and every time I tried quitting cold turkey. I need help….I just can’t do it…I remember when I was on day 5 of quitting I could barely breathe and my nose was running and it felt like I had the flu or something the withdrawal was so bad…I snored really loud and even stopped breathing in my sleep (said my friend). I was thinking of cutting down instead of quitting cold….is there any techniques to do that with minimum stress? I get panic attacks a lot…so maybe someone has something that worked for them? Oh yeah…and I can’t just stop. I’ve been trying that for 3 years…I need tips on cutting down. Thanks for anyone who is a life saviour! 10 points!

Um, I’m having the SAME problem. (Check my questions) haha.

I’m trying to just cut back ONE a day and count how many I have. It seems to be helping. Also, with LOTS of chewing gum and Pop Rocks candy. I’m down to 7 a day. Hopefully, 6 this week.

For panic attacks..get a rubber band and put it on your wrist. When you feel like your having one…pop it on your wrist. It stings, but it helps and kinda in some way makes you remember to breathe and you’ll get past it. It’s helped me a lot. Also ice. If you feel a panic attack coming on…grab a piece of ice and hold it. For some reason (maybe the shock of cold…) that helps me too.

Good Luck!
