Spouses of snorers, what tips do you have to make bed-sharing easier?
My H snores like a pig in a war, from the moment he drops off till the moment he wakes. He doesn’t have apnea, just a wobbly palate. I have de-camped to the spare room, but we’ve agreed to try and sleep in the same bed at least every few days. So far I have:
– wax earplugs
– a mild sedative
– ambient background noise
– a huge bed made of 2 beds zipped together so the bed vibration is reduced
He has a small dispensary of gadgets and sprays, none of which have made any difference to be honest. He’s also agreed not to smoke or drink in the run up to bedtime. Is there anything else we can do?
Doctors can sometimes fix that permanently.
