Question marks I didn’t type, showing up in email discussion list posts…help!?
I belong to several email-based discussion lists. On a couple of them, my emails post just fine, exactly as I typed them.
But on two lists, my emails always post with question marks (that I DID NOT type) scattered throughout the message. It looks something like this:
“Yep, I’ve got a dog that does the same thing.? She always lays in the sun? on her back and snores loud enough for the neighbors to hear.? I’ve always thought it was pretty? funny.?”
It’s rather distracting and makes people not want to read my posts.
I use the AOL web based email as my primary email….(crappy, but old habits die hard). Of the groups that I have this problem with, one is a Yahoo! Group and the other is a LISTSERV based group. My default font is “Verdana”, would changing it to Arial help?
Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
