when will my puppys come?
we are not sure when our pit became pregnant but last night her temp was 99.4 and today it is 99.3 her boobs are really full and milk comes out of them
last night she was not eating and was lazy and nestin but today she ate a little and has been pretty active she walks really slow and wont run but she has shown no signs of labor
how long do you think untill the puppy come?
she is asleep right now and like snoring/purring/moaning haha not sure what the noise is actually
please no mean answers. i take extreamly good care of all my dogs and these puppy will only go to the best homes
i know about the over population i know about dog abuse spare me the lecture cuz youy dont know me to judge me i am just an animal lover who is making sure her baby is ok
Dogs are a little like people in that every labor is different and it’s hard to predict it exactly. Her temp. hasn’t changed enough for me to think she’s going into labor very soon. Usually my dogs will not eat or drink that day and the vulva will get swollen, sometimes with a mucus like discharge. Some of my dogs really want to be with me when they go into labor, some are indifferent to me at that point. They can have milk for a week or two before they give birth, so that’s not a sure way to tell if pups are close. Just keep an eye on her. If at any point you think she is in labor, but nothing happens for over an hour, take her to the vet. Or if there is a greenish discharge, take her to the vet. Don’t wait.
