I just read this article and I thought it was interesting, it says that more couples are choosing to sleep in separate beds and bedrooms. I think I would, I like to have my own space and I have very strange sleeping habits, and he snores too loud.

Would you do it? What’s more important, getting a good sleep, or marital unity in the bedroom?

No, I wouldn’t recommend it under any circumstance.

Sharing the same bed with your partner creates intimacy which is something that should be nurtured within a relationship at all times. Do not make excuses as it is so important continuing closeness in and out of bed.

Try to resolve the issues of discomfort in the bed instead of resoluting to separate rooms. Perhaps you could have one of those beds that come in two parts so that you sleep comfortably on your side of the bed. As for the snoring…just seek medical advice.
