Would (Medical) nose job encourage ”Rhinoplasty” nose job?
Doctor recently suggested as soon as i turn sixteen i need to fix another appointment to discuss my nose operation. Although you wouldnt notice anything wrong with my nose (apart from a small bump at the top),i have closed gaps at the top of my nose causing me to suffocate easily and to ”snore haha. The procedure includes ”breaking the nose” then straightening it , (as its unoticeably bent) which i wonder whether this encourages a free surgery of grinding my small bump to make my nose look more normal. Also when someone hits me on the bump at the top of my nose it usually bleeds or aches for hours..would this be a reason for the smoothing of my bump or in other causes a mini nose job??
If you have a deviated septum the septal cartilage deformity may extend into the nasal bones. Fixing the cartilage in many cases requires the nasal bones to be reshaped via breaking and manipulating the bones. Hence the surgery would be called rhinoplasty with major septal repair. Many insurances will not cover this procedure citing it as cosmetic even though it is a functional treatment. The surgery if performed correctly will improve both function and appearance. Good luck if you choose to have the surgery.
