Sleep/Migraine problems…?
I have a problem where I can’t get any steady sleep at all. I’ve had severe migraines for years now. I had a sleep study and confirmed that I have sleep apnea and stop breathing when I sleep, so I had my tonsils out. I don’t snore anymore so the doctors assume I’m fine.
Truth is, I can never sleep before about 5:00 in the morning and I’ll get about 3 or 4 hours of steady sleep. It’s also like I have a constant lingering headache every day, and I think it’s linked to my sleeping troubles. I don’t want to wear one of those masks while I sleep.
What can I do?
I know “Iloveconcerts.” Waking up with a headache is fucking brutal. Also, I’ve taken so many pills for this shit that I rattle when I walk. Medicine doesn’t seem to be helping.
Thanks for the reply.
Metal,
There are many reasons as to why you may not be getting good sleep.
Diet, stress, anxiety, pack of exercise are all factors which may prevent good sleep. They are also all top contributors in migraine problems.
Are you drinking excessive amounts of caffeine? Are you exercising at all during the day?
Like guitar, or anything else, you need to train yourself proper methods to achieve great sleep.
You dont need pills – they are a very temporary fix, and may lead to MORE problems.
theres a natural sleep guide i found at
getbettersleeptonight.com
that helps tremendously. i used to suffer from the same problems…now i sleep like a baby.
good luck!
