Burping and Snorting Cavalier King Charles!?

My cavalier king charles spaniel is so funny, she snores, she burps, she snorts and is not very lady like, but I love her to bits. Cavaliers are so brilliant. Anyone else out there have a not so lady like cavie?

I have two male CKC spaniels. They can do no wrong, as far as I’m concerned! They snort also, and I found out that their “snorting” is actually referred to as “reverse sneezing.” It’s perfectly normal and results from an irritated soft palate (usually from dust, from pulling on the collar during a walk on a leash, or whatever usually causes sneezing.) If it gets out of control you can either gently cover her nostrils to make her breathe out of her mouth and, thereby, stimulate the soft palate; or you can gently massage the throat area. She’ll eventually get over her “sneezing fit,” though. They are brilliant, but they have terrible manners! Luckily, they’re so adorable, they can get away with it!
