
Reasons, and tips to help stop snoring!?
Im 20 years old, im 6’1 and weigh 180 pounds. As of fairly recently my wife has been kept awake because i am snoring a lot more then usual. anyway it seems to be in any position i lay but mostly my back i generally try to sleep on my right side or my stomach but it seems i roll onto my back. anyway any tips to help stop or curve my snoring is appreciated.
also i have been waking up a lot with my mouth open and a soar throat in the morning.
If you find yourself snoring whether you are laying on your back or side then I would recommend losing a few pounds. Even losing a few pounds can make all the difference. When you carry extra weight you have fat deposits not just around your middle but also down your throat. These restrict your airways especially when you lie down. You are simply suffocating yourself!
It can help in the short term to raise your pillow so your head is higher. This position will open up your airways more.
