Is My Cat Normal? Please Answer!!?
My kitty Sunday, http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii182/xXPorcelainXDollXx/100_0518.jpg
sleeps in my room. When she falls asleep ( like a deep sleep like kitty REM) She growls and moves allot she snores at some times but i think she is missing some teeth. At times when i wake up there will be a pool of something wet on my bed (about the size of a quarter and i thought it was pee so i smelled it and i think it is drool) Sometimes when i scratch her ears she shakes her head, and last night when she shook her head a couple little drops of her spit hit me i was cracking up!
Also when i talk to her she sometimes talk back, like word for word. it kinda feels like she answers my questions!!
Last thing, when she wants attention she rams me with her head quite hard!
Is this normal? Do anny one else’s cats do this? And why dose she do theses weird things?
Dreaming: Cats do in fact dream, so that’s what she’s doing when she’s growling/moving/snorting while asleep.
Drooling: Cats also drool when they are happy or excited.
‘Conversations’: Yep, cats will talk to you. And birds outside the window. And other cats. It depends on their personality. Usually if the cat is talking to you they are showing affection or asking for something.
Head butting: If you observe kittens interacting with their mother, you’ll see that they do this with both their mother and their siblings in order to get attention. This is remembered behavior which she’s using in order to get attention from you, same as kneading with her claws to show affection.
All perfectly normal. Congratulations, you’ve got a happy cat!
