Help me choose a breed please?
I have a Keeshond and a shiba inu
I want a bigger dog
I want one labeled as a “velcro dog”
one thats very affectionate
One that is easy to train off leash, a low wanderlust, like collies
One that doesnt need that much exercise
I dont like curly fur, but i dont mind long straighter fur
I can train a strong willed dog(lol-i have a shiba)
I dont mind snoring, drool, or fur, i am willing to clean every couple days
so help me choose a breed please
I don’t know if this would be the right dog for you, but it might be worth looking in to. I have heard that Chow Chows are ‘velcro dogs’, bonding very strongly with one person. They are medium/large size, lots of fluffy straight fur, they can be affectionate, and they don’t need a whole lot of exercise. They can be strong willed, and they can be protective. Some people think they are aggressive, but I have met many very friendly Chow Chows. And getting a Chow Chow from an Excellent Reputable breeder really makes a difference. One of my favorites dogs ever is a short coated Chow Chow. He is calm and very sweet, giving kisses to strangers on their cheek. And he lives with a few other dogs.
