Why am I having trouble waking up in the morning?
Hello everyone!
I am 22, and I am starting school in September, so I have to be able to get to school by 8 am.
The problem is that I have so much trouble waking up for anytime before 9 or 9:30. I have tried going to bed early (10pm) for over a week in a row, I do wake up to my alarm but, i fall asleep shortly after because my eyes are burning their so tired!
Are there vitamins or something i could take? home remedies? I hear i don’t snore (very loud if at all) so i don’t think its apnea…
Any help would be awesome! Thank you!
It could be several things. I heard one person say that if you weak up really tired, it is an indication that you got a good night sleep. His thought was that you were in such a deep sleep that it takes you longer to wake up.
Another theory is that you didn’t get a good not sleep so you are tired from lack of sleep. Sleep disorders like sleep apnea can interrupt your sleep cycle, causing you not to be fully rested. There are scientific studies to back this one up.
Either way, if you alarm wakes you up and your falling back to sleep, try putting the alarm clock on the other side of the room. You have to get out of bed to turn it off. Then a shower can help you wake up or a cup of coffee, my favorite, or a Coke or tea.
