I am getting my Tonsils and Adenoids out i have questions!!?

Okay. so im 15, and im getting my tonsils and adenoids out. As of right now i have sleep apnea so thats why i have to get them out. My voice has always sounded a little nasaly (however you spell that word.) once i get mine out, after all the healing and what not, will my voice be less nasaly? also, will i really notice a difference in how tired i am all the time. Hopefully i wont snore anymore too, ITS EMBARASSING!! ahhah anyway hope you can answer these questions!
i also would like to know, does your voice sound like higherr or deeper? or clearer. be specific

I had my the same surgery when I was 18 or 19 – because I kept getting tonsillitis and throat infections. My voice did change a little – but it wasn’t really that noticeable. A friend of mine had her tonsils and adenoids out and had a very different voice afterward though – so it’s different for everyone. I hope you sleep better and snore less after the surgery.

You’ll feel pretty crappy for around a week afterward so try and take it easy. You voice may also sound weird for a few days – but that’s just you recovering and it won’t be like that always. Feel better!
