Do those snore mouth guards really work?
My husband snores very loud and I don’t get much sleep. We are looking into getting one of those mouth guards that are supposed to stop the snoring.. Has anyone out there used one and if so, did it work? Thanks!
I have found they work for people who snore whether they are sleeping on their back or sides.
They work by keeping the mouth in the right position and closed. Some people find them great and others uncomfortable. There are over the counter mouth guards you can try first to see if your husband will tolerate a mouth piece and whether he can keep it in all night. The best mouth guards though are individually made by dentists. They are molded to fit perfectly.
So my advice is check out the over the counter products first after all they are low cost and may just do the job and your husband may or may not find them okay to wear.
If you get some relief then go for the expensive one
