What type of dr. should my son see he has excessive drooling and is 3 1/2yrs old. ?
Note he was also born with vacterl syndrome so I’m believing it was a tracheal issue that went missed! He has all his teeth this is not the issue! He talks extremely well for his age. He does suck his thumb but I believe this was caused by me asking him to close his mouth to stop the drooling! And it works but when he’s not sucking his thumb he’s drooling excessively! Soaking shirts, constantly keeping something in his mouth to catch drool. He also does not snore and is not a mouth breather that I can tell. Please help kids are cruel and have already begun teasing him -i hate this since he’s bn thru so much already 6 surgeries and one being a spinal surgery! I just want to make sure were not missing something and before now noone would listen saying it was teething(win I knew it was not) thanks
