I’m thinking about getting a pug but I heard they snore how do I stop it from snoring?
I heard pugs snore loudly and to me it is a bit irritating.
if snoring is going to bother you, a pug is absolutely NOT a good dog for you at all. I can tell you have done little to no research yet either.
Pugs have extremely short noses making them a “brachycephalic” dog. The short air passageways is what makes the breathing loud since it is very hard for these dogs to breathe properly since there is barely any room in their airways. It is virtually impossible to prevent these dogs from snoring and breathing loudly, the dog’s nose is genetically short. I advise you to look into other breeds, or perhaps a mixed breed that is not a brachycephalic breed such as a pug, boxer, bull dog, boston terrier, etc.
Before you get any dog, do GOOD research, Y answers is not the right place for you to do your research.
