Canine influenza has gurgling noise and heavy snoring?
My dog was diagnosed with dog flu, and got a shot and a cough syrup, order to help with the cough and phlegm. You have to eject the typical canine flu coughs with slight choking after coughing mucus. She has a very slight fever and has not to play their appetite or their desire (she's lost an 8-month-old Lab Retriever) … However, she is making some nasty noises in their sleep, snoring like traffic jams, and wakes choking … then back to the breath and breathe normally for a few minutes, but returns the jams … Is this a normal part of the flu-process? If they still with appetite and has a shot and a cough syrup were given by their vet, I was to worry about a secondary infection, or is that just released her body mucus winning a battle with the virus? Plz help, I'm worried!
I think the phelgm must run back down the throat and stuffed nose when she lies down. I would not worry. My dog had canine flu, snoring, that monster. It was cleared up, as he became better. I just want to keep an eye on her energy level. If she seems lethargic, take it back to the vet.
